In Community Solutions, we bring customers in shared buildings and small communities (multiple-dwelling units or “MDUs”) a wide range of Spectrum products and services. Those communities include apartment and condominium complexes, off-campus college housing, health care and eldercare facilities, and recreation facilities.
Whether face-to-face or over the phone, there are plenty of ways to find success in Community Solutions. To get started in the role, you should have about two (2) years of experience networking with C-level executives, property owners and building managers, co-op and condo board managers, developers, lawyers, government officials, and other high-level community representatives. These will be your strategic contacts.
What We Do
Community Solutions Account Executives (AEs) connect with decision makers, building good rapport and becoming familiar faces in their neighborhoods. They are enthusiastic and charismatic individuals who benefit from unlimited earning potential, and who make a difference for their customers' bottom lines. AEs create bulk strategic sales presentations to emphasize the power and value of customizable Spectrum products. Their ability to maintain close working relationships helps them succeed in the role.
Community Solutions Account Managers (AMs) develop relationships with property owners in order to establish the long-term agreements that get end customers the most value for their investment with Spectrum. Increasing awareness of and selling Spectrum’s high-quality products and services are the team’s goals, but we’re about so much more. Being an AM takes a level of comfort and business savvy when communicating with key decision makers to obtain Right of Entry agreements, and these agreements are essential to help Sales Representatives gain purchase in a new community and start making sales.
