The highlights
The Enterprise Account Executive Generalist is a consultative field sales position, selling voice, data, cloud and video services. This is a hybrid account executive and account management role, responsible for an assigned territory. The position will focus on showing prospective clients how Spectrum Enterprise’s innovative business solutions will help satisfy their growing complex technology and communications needs.

What you will do
  • Consistently achieve monthly sales and revenue goals
  • Work with a goal structure comprised of new business and renewal sales
  • Consult with prospective clients to support the fast-growing business
  • Grow relationships within existing accounts to up-sell and secure renewals
  • Develop client-centric solutions for complex services
  • Create and deliver proposals on product benefits that align with client needs
  • Maintain client database
  • Identify target markets, industries, and contacts for product portfolio
  • Qualify new leads and prospects, including submission of a return on investment (ROI) analysis
  • Work in conjunction with Account Management, Sales Engineering and Marketing
  • Build a network through referrals, prospecting calls, trade shows and peers
  • Perform additional duties related to this position as assigned, including attending training and meetings
Required keys for success
  • Three or more years of sales experience
  • Skilled in quickly conducting consultative analysis and providing recommendations
  • Proven record as top sales performer, exceeding revenue goal
  • Collaborative team member, able to multitask and manage change
  • Familiarity with, ICOMS/CSG or other billing systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills

  • Three or more years of telecommunications business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
  • Positive attitude with strong presentation skills
  • Deadline-driven in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong networking skills
  • Motivated by a commission based model
  • Coachable, with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
  • Experience with LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber networks
  • Familiarity with our product suite
Your education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (preferred)
