The Director of Cloud Sales will provide strategic and operational direction to a national team of Account Managers. This position is responsible for guiding the team towards revenue growth, renewals and a positive sales experience for specifically assigned NaviSite clients in the US.

What you will do
  • Develop sales objectives including account revenue maintenance and revenue growth for the region
  • Manage the Sales Account Managers' performance using corporate performance guidelines and coaching for necessary performance improvements
  • Recruit for open positions
  • Ability to train field sales and account management executives in developing and closing revenue opportunities in the product areas of application, implementation and management of infrastructure services, hosting, content delivery and cloud computing services or any future NaviSite products/services
  • Develop Microsoft and other partner relationships to expand current direct sales reach
  • Take a leadership role in pricing, solution architecting, risk identification, internal team communications and competitive assessment areas
  • Work within company guidelines to oversee appropriate pricing, service negotiations and/or legal terms or conditions with clients
  • Manage company standards and policies related to documentation, reporting, travel, expense and related administrative functions
  • Foster and develop an increased awareness of the company’s product and service offerings within the industry, technology partnerships, and professional networking groups
Required keys for success
  • Exceptional sales leadership experience with demonstrated track record of success in account management and revenue growth
  • 8 or more years of experience in IT hosting, Cloud Services, application management or related industries
  • Excellent leadership skills demonstrating the ability to organize, operate, lead and motivate a sales team
  • Thorough knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices
  • Exceptional communication skills – oral and written
  • Exceptional cross functional skills in a matrix style support structure
Your education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business or a related field (required)
  • Master's Degree in a related field (preferred)
