Highlights
The National Accounts Sales Manager is responsible for the activities of a team of National Account Managers (NAM) and National Account Executives (NAE) selling voice, data, cloud and video infrastructure within an assigned portfolio. The position will focus on showing prospective national clients how Spectrum Enterprise’s innovative business solutions will help satisfy their growing complex technology and communications needs.

What you will do
  • Lead and manage a team to exceed monthly sales and billing goals
  • Recruit talented team members to support revenue opportunities
  • Train and coach account team members
  • Prioritize project assignments for optimized growth
  • Utilize hands-on team development and monitoring activities to ensure excellence
  • Grow national footprint through extensive contact and client network
  • Establish business projects with significant long-term potential
  • Negotiate contracts and conversations with C-Level executives and decision makers
  • Work in conjunction with all internal organizations supporting Sales
  • Oversee completion of necessary administrative processes
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts, sales summaries, and sales funnel reports
  • Comply with established policies and procedures of Spectrum Enterprise
  • Perform additional duties related to this position, including attending training and meetings
Required keys for success
  • Five or more years of experience managing global telecom sales
  • History of team-building and management in high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize, implement and maintain sales goals
  • Strong knowledge of Voice, Ethernet, Cloud, High-Speed Data and Fiber Services
  • Experience with equipment vendors, managed services and SaaS services
  • List of C-Level contacts to position Spectrum Enterprise services nationally
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Visio
  • Excellent written and oral English communication

  • Experience with LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber networks
  • Familiarity with the Spectrum Enterprise product suite
Your education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (preferred)
