Highlights
The Enterprise Manager, Process and Delivery is responsible for managing Scrum development teams and business, functional and technical requirements for all development projects as well as initiatives involving web development and marketing technology. In this role, you are the main conduit between business stakeholders who request development efforts, product owners and development teams/leads, providing excellent service at all times. This position will be located in Stamford, Connecticut.

In this role, you will guide the development team(s) to support self-organizing and self-managing to successfully achieve their daily, iteration, release goals and delivery objectives. They do so by effectively applying, implementing and enforcing Scrum principles and practices, facilitating continuous improvement and identifying and removing team impediments.

You will support the product owner with the documentation of user stories and acceptance criteria. You will also provide support around group facilitation, interviewing, training and additional forms of knowledge transfer.

What you will do
  • Manage many small-to-medium-size development projects and requirements documents for three enterprise business-to-business (B2B) websites and marketing technology tools
  • Perform as a servant leader with a passion to help teams thrive and deliver high value to the organization
  • Use agile estimation techniques to help the team and program estimate features, epics and user stories
  • Assist with managing project schedules, forecasts and communicating status for multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Support and educate product owners, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog and planning releases
  • Elicit client requirements using techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Collaborate with product owners, subject matter experts (SMEs) and developers to understand client needs and translate them into the product backlog
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the true underlying true needs
  • Facilitate all Scrum meetings, including daily stand-up, sprint planning and review, backlog grooming, epic and story estimation, demos and retrospective
  • Help the team stay focused by removing impediments, protecting them from distractions and keeping team meetings lean and efficient
  • Facilitate the team's self-organization to accomplish objectives and continuously improve their own processes
  • Create and maintain information radiators and team tools such as sprint board, burn-down charts and burn-up charts and progress dashboards
  • Track metrics that are important to team and delivery success and continuous improvement
  • Use aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete analysis, improvement and/or recommendation(s)
  • Review accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors
  • Act as a SME for key systems/processes in team and day-to-day functions
  • Coordinate involvement of employees from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations
  • Collaborate with technology vendors, project managers, business analysts and business owners in developing solutions for the websites or marketing technology tools
Required keys for success
  • Five or more years of experience as a Scrum master
  • Knowledge of and experience with web and marketing technologies such as Adobe AEM/CQ, Eloqua and Salesforce
  • Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies including Agile or similar methodology
  • Experience driving process improvement of application delivery, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Experience with Agile practices and Kanban
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Recent management experience with Agile backlog maintenance and business, functional and technical requirements in a large corporate environment
  • Collaborative, curious, creative, analytical and detail-oriented mind
  • Passion, integrity, service-orientation and a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to build strong and sustainable working relationships with internal and external teams, including back-end and front-end developers, the broader marketing team, product, vendors and executive stakeholders
  • Strong sense of teamwork with the ability to take a leadership role, act proactively to keep initiatives moving and foster continuous improvement in processes
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage many simultaneous tasks and prioritize to ensure the most important business goals are met first
  • Facilitate meetings and take accurate notes
  • Capture and organize/write down business, functional and technical requirements and/or use cases and translate them into epics and stories
  • Identify historical requirements applicable to sustainment work items
  • Elicit historical requirements from SMEs when necessary
  • Effective communication skills to interact with people at all levels of the organization
How you will stand out from the crowd
  • Understanding of digital marketing and web development practices
  • Experience using online Agile and project management tools such as Slack, Jira, VersionOne, Rally, Aha!, Basecamp and Smartsheet
Your education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, business, management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum Alliance and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification or a desire to attain certification (preferred)
