Charter Communications currently seeks a Technical Operations Supervisor in Jamaica, Queens.
Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions: •Conducts weekly meetings with department staff. •Monitors and shares weekly productivity numbers with Foremen and reports to manager. •Maintains CPE inventory database •Weekly reports to the manager of the number and types of jobs inspected and the percentage of discrepancies as well as trends within the department. •Maintains employee work history and Kronos time keeping records. •Assist in developing and managing the annual quality department plans and associated forecasts and budgets. •Manages Quality control reports and database to track departmental performance •Responsible for presenting the results of customer surveys and all field related issues to Foremen and technical l staff •Work to develop and improve existing processes that can enable the department to provide a higher quality of service •Act as a point of escalation for damage claims, access issues and customer complaints that involve field personnel •Maintain established Area qualitative and quantitative standards. •Effective interaction with both external and internal customers •Meet all operational and budgetary objectives. Maintain monthly and annual performance evaluations/reviews database.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desirable; a minimum of 3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three (3) years CATV experience required supervisory experience a plus, or equivalent trainer’s experience. •Experienced with CSG billing system and in PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). •Must be detailed oriented and capable of completing multiple projects and assignments under strict time constraints. •Must be able to research, report and communicate results in a clear and consistent manner. •Experience with RF, CATV and Digital technologies •Good project management and time management skills are required •Must have excellent customer service skills •Must have strong attention to detail •Availability out of regular business hours as needed •Must be detailed oriented and capable of completing multiple projects and assignments under strict time constraints. •Driving is a requirement for this position. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
