The Highlights
The Spectrum Enterprise Account Manager is a field sales position, selling voice, data, cloud and video services. In this role, you will be responsible for the upsell of services to existing customers, the renewal and retention of new customers, and win-back of former customers. The position will focus on establishing long-term client relationships.
What You Will Do
  • Grow key relationships to support the fast-growing business
  • Cultivate new opportunities with former customers
  • Develop customer-centric solutions highlighting product benefits
  • Facilitate face-to-face meetings to pursue renewal opportunities
  • Deliver proposals to promote new revenue
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue quotas
  • Maintain customer database
  • Work in conjunction with Account Management, Sales Engineering, and Marketing
  • Build network through referrals, prospecting calls, trade shows, and peers
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions
  • Perform other duties as needed
Required Keys for Success
  • 2-4 years of business-to-business account management or sales experience
  • Skilled in quickly conducting consultative analysis and providing recommendations
  • Proven record as top sales performer, exceeding revenue quota
  • Collaborative team member, able to multitask and manage change
  • Familiarity with, ICOMS/CSG, or other billing systems
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Visio
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills

  • 2-4 years of experience selling data, voice, cloud, or video solutions
  • Positive attitude with strong presentation skills
  • Deadline driven in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Motivated by commission based model
  • Coachable, with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with product suite, business software, hardware, and intranet
Your Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related field (preferred)
What You Can Expect

  • Field work including customer meetings and site visits
  • Frequent travel in personal vehicle
