The Highlights
The Senior Carrier Account Executive will sell to the wholesale carrier segment across our footprint, defined as Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers (ILEC), Multiple System Operators (MSO), Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC) and other wholesale clients. In this role, you will focus on maintaining existing carrier wholesale accounts and developing relationships with new carrier wholesale clients.
What you will do
  • Manage and grow a book of business
  • Develop and execute cross-functional account development plans
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue sales goals
  • Design strategic account plans to drive opportunities and growth
  • Develop client-centric solutions for complex services
  • Identify new carrier accounts and increase penetration within existing accounts
  • Manage all phases of account management to ensure effective client solutions
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts
  • Present sales and channel performance report to senior leaders
  • Foster long-term positive and professional relationships with carriers and integrators
  • Execute applicable documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and Master Service Agreements (MSA)
  • Coordinate with the network sales engineer to effectively support sales process
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, services and market dynamics
  • Close client sales by explaining benefits and providing effective solutions
  • Ensure account progress is accurately entered into Salesforce database
  • Carry out other duties as needed, including attending trainings and meetings

Required keys for success
  • Three or more years of experience in carrier/wholesale sales or major accounts
  • Proven experience providing enterprise-grade business solutions to large clients
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and strategic negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with solution or value software applications, such as Salesforce
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong knowledge of broadband technology and telecommunication practices
  • Knowledge of network security and redundancy
  • Effective communication skills

How you will stand out from the crowd
  • Five or more years of experience in carrier or wholesale sales
  • Advanced knowledge of Information System (IT) protocols like SONET, ATM, Ethernet, frame, MPLS, TCP/IP
  • Outstanding organizational skills with talent for prioritizing and multitasking
  • Positive attitude with strong presentation skills
Your education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
