The Highlights

Navisite LLC., a Spectrum Enterprise company, is seeking a Product Manager who is a cloud computing professional. This employee will be responsible for driving the vision, road map and product development as well as the rollout and sales enablement strategy for the managed cloud computing solutions that Navisite offers, including Managed Services for Microsoft Office 365, our Desktop as a Service offerings and other cloud computing services and solutions. The employee will work with internal stakeholders and external software and service providers to expand and enhance our cloud computing managed services solutions in many forms to enable clients to exceed their IT infrastructure requirements and help them achieve business goals.

What you will do
  • Develop and manage Navisite’s managed end-user cloud computing solutions, driving strategic product planning, the software and services development process, pricing and packaging strategies, competitive analysis and go-to-market strategies
  • Share your vision in many forms, from product road maps and product/service requirements to outlines for content marketing assets and campaigns
  • Manage vendor relationships and help bring in and retain new vendors
  • Ensure our products are meeting client’s needs and leveraging technology advancements to ensure competitive differentiation in this high-impact, visible role
  • Collaborate with developers, operations, legal, compliance, sales, marketing and other departments
  • Devise and articulate the company’s product road map for cloud computing solutions and ensure the value proposition will ensure a successful launch and profitable service
  • Own the product vision for your area and ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision
  • Serve as the thought leader, internally and externally, for end-user cloud computing solutions
  • Represent the client or partner and be their champion and voice by actively participating in client forums and ensuring their requirements are considered
  • Manage the road map and ensure priorities and dependencies are factored in
  • Build trust with stakeholders by sharing your vision and road map
  • Share your knowledge of the market and client requirements and ensure the project is on track for success
  • Manage products throughout their life cycles, from concept to launch, follow-on releases and enhancements then retirement
  • Measure success by tracking product margins, revenue, churn, client satisfaction and employee feedback
  • Ensure all stakeholders have a visible sense of your interpretation of above data points and develop actionable conclusions to achieve the best outcome for the company and clients
  • Drive innovation and synthesize internal and external knowledge to ensure Navisite’s innovative spirit results in market leadership
  • Represent Navisite at industry events, conferences and internal forums
Required keys for success
  • Five or more years of product management experience or thought leader-level subject expertise with a business development role at a business-to-business technology company
  • Strong demonstrated experience as the voice of clients and stake holders—with examples of working with marketing, finance, engineering, support and operations
  • Goals and desire to grow with Navisite professionally and technically while constantly improving skills, leveraging new techniques and creating enterprise grade products and services
  • Curiosity and ability to keep up with the latest and greatest technologies in our space, ecosystem vendor announcements, market developments and more
  • Willingness to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to share the Navisite story
  • A team player who will help mentor teammates looking to get to the next level
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence people at all levels across all functions
How you will stand out from the crowd
  • Five or more years of product management experience or thought leader-level subject expertise with a business development role at a business-to-business technology company, preferably a managed services provider or IaaS or SaaS provider that has an active solution and client base

Your education
  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Master's degree or higher (preferred)
