JOB SUMMARY

Support the build and execution of product strategies for the advanced advertising business at Spectrum Reach.
  • Help define, implement and execute repeatable processes, for use by the Advanced Product & Strategy team, when developing/updating product strategies, cascading strategy to execution plans and when assessing new initiatives for strategic fit
  • Help increase business impact by reinforcing the utilization and application of market insights, competitive intel, and quantitative analysis when evaluating new business opportunities, product strategies, and strategic partnerships and investments
  • Support communication and governance processes which help ensure the broader organization is aligned to and aware of the Advanced Product & Strategy team’s strategic priorities and supporting execution plans
Cross functional relationship building, communications, and partnering are critical to the success of this position.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help establish and deliver repeatable, effective processes and templates for developing, updating, communicating, governing and executing multi-year product strategies
  • Help establish and deliver a process and supporting templates by which new business opportunities, strategic investments, partnerships, and development activities are consistently and effectively assessed for strategic fit
  • Help increase and standardize the application of quantifiable metrics, competitive market insights and product intelligence in the development of product strategies
  • Help facilitate and standardize cross functional planning activities and communication efforts across Spectrum Reach and other Charter divisions, as it relates to long term strategies and their related cross functional priorities and supporting execution plans
  • Help build and monitor progress toward annual Advanced Product & Strategy execution plan
  • Maintain Playbook through which all product strategy build, deploy, refine and execute processes are documented and accessible to stakeholders
  • Maintain and communicate annual planning and meetings calendar for Advanced Product & Strategy team
  • Direct work of supporting team members, if/when needed (team members may be teammates and/or direct report)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong leader with ability to engage and build consensus through collaboration and influence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience writing business cases and/or business requirements, procedural documentation and more
  • Strong attention to detail and tactical execution and organizational skills, balanced with ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Quickly synthesizes and analyzes complex ideas/problems, aligns them with business priorities, and devises actionable strategies to accomplish goals
  • Effectively navigates ambiguous situations and drives to clarity, with a mindset of problem solving and building repeatable processes for the future
  • Able to supervise others and flourish in a matrix team environment; encourages different points of view, moves team forward through change, provides timely information, and communicates context for business decisions
  • Excellent ability to deliver under pressure in fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Able to prioritize effectively, for self and others
  • Knowledge of advanced advertising products and services including TV, digital, mobile and video (preferred)
  • Industry awareness of trends impacting the advertising business including mobile, OTT, AI, ML, measurement and currencies, and automation (preferred)
EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management or related field (preferred)

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years experience in technology-oriented industry
  • 7+ years experience in strategy, product and/or program management and/or comparable planning and execution delivery management role
  • Advanced advertising / television or digital industry experience (preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Spectrum Reach currently supports a combined office and work from home environment
  • Regular use of video conferencing is required
  • Travel is required (<25%)
