The Manager, Commission Systems Development is responsible for leading a team of system consultants in supporting the design and configuration of our internal commission systems. This role will partner with internal business and functional stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements in order to create and provide effective system solutions in a timely fashion. Experience in business needs analysis, system configuration and design, system documentation, data integration and testing are critical. Hands-on configuration experience and knowledge of comparable enterprise commissions systems such as CallidusCloud, Optymyze, Xactly Incent, Iconixx Sales, etc. are required.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Directly manage and actively contribute to a team of Specialists and Consultants who are responsible for Developing business and functional requirement specifications for application development, modifications and/or configurations.
Identify and execute on system enhancements.
Serve as subject matter expert and ensure effective management of systems, processes and programs through the understanding of business unit specific needs and analysis/assessment of system capabilities.
Work with cross-functional teams in a matrix department environment.
Act as a central point of contact for Commission System issues in their respective alignment.
Indirectly manage vendor assistance to ensure project deliverables are consistently met.
Hire, train and manage performance and development of direct reports to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and business continuity is maintained.
Responsible for resolving day to day issues and ad hoc requests from specified channel alignments, as well as larger enhancements and defect resolution.
Manage Completing system configuration changes.
Responsible for developing, documenting and performing system tests.
Perform other duties as requested.

Ability to apply a broad, integrated perspective when planning, problem-solving and assessing cross-functional impacts. This includes identifying critical steps, activities, and upstream/downstream impacts.
Proven experience developing, verifying and writing business & functional requirements, applying configuration changes, conducting workflow analyses, and documenting test plans.
Experience testing deliverables and certifying integrity of automated solutions and programs.
Strong interpersonal, written and public speaking skills with ability to communicate complex information to all levels of the organization.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
Initiative to proactively identify and address needs and improvements.
In-depth understanding of the movement of sets of data, master systems and downstream systems and the way data sets are related to one another.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Telecommunications/Cable industry experience.
