As the Manager of Data and Analytics, you drive growth by serving as a subject matter expert for multi-functional efforts. You identify and interpret data and recommend areas for improvement based on company reporting and data needs. You focus on data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation to create statistical models with clustering and linear, logistic and non-linear regression. You excel at generating deep data insights that have been proven to create lucrative return on investments (ROIs), equity and assets through collaboration with finance and business teams.
You have an in-depth understanding of ERP, finance functions and how to leverarge analytic solutions and boost revenue. You maximize the ERP development lifecycle and finance analytic solutions by working with business end-users and using current industry technologies. You are passionate about using advanced statistical techniques such as T-test, chi-square tests and ANOVA to explain results in clear and concise reports. You serve as a financial consultant applying architectural principles to business solutions for teams across Spectrum Enterprise. You thrive in an office position and travel as needed to meet company objectives. You report to the Senior Director of Advanced Analytics for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
Recommend improvement by serving as the guiding member for a defined group of business units and analyze available data.
Support business and management decisions for daily operations, strategic planning and specific business performance improvements through the collection, analysis and clear reporting of data.
Drive the analytical process through data mining, collating, modeling, interpreting data and explaining variances and trends.
Improve modeling techniques by identifying and documenting enhancements.
Ensure successful analytical outcomes by proactively seeking clarification of requirements and direction.
Organize analyses and capture views of the company based on business architecture approach and methodologies taking into consideration various business scenarios and motivations.
Provide traceability through the organization that is mapped to the ongoing governance metrics by capturing the tactical and strategic enterprise goals.
Accurately convey analyses by defining the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between the data elements.
Apply architectural principles to business solutions and use model-based representations to collect and aggregate complex and conflicting business data.
Explain reports clearly and concisely using advanced modeling techniques and testing.
Required keys for success:
Two or more years of management experience.
Five or more years of data analytics experience.
Confidence when documenting, preparing and delivering data-driven presentations to management.
Deadline-driven with the ability to make decisions and solve problems working under pressure.
Enjoy working with a team towards a shared goal while showing good judgment and initiative.
Changes direction quickly based on required insights of new or existing data sets.
Familiar with real-time analytics and business intelligence platforms with the ability to work with SQL databases, ETL tools and several programming languages such as MS SQL Server, Cognos, BOBJ, Tableau, Teradata, Microstrategy, Oracle Suite, JDE, PS and other ERPs.
Expert in using very large datasets to formulate questions that help create management reports.
Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
Proficient in SQL, R, SAS and Python with a working knowledge of the SAS Enterprise guide.
Experience creating statistical models.
Strong knowledge of statistics and probability theories.
Track record of successfully using and analyzing large data sets to help create management reports and new strategies.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (required).
