JOB SUMMARY
This is an opportunity for an entry-level paralegal to work in a dynamic and productive work environment in support of the Legal Department’s Employment Law Team. The paralegal will primarily review, analyze and respond in a timely and compliant manner, to subpoenas and other third party requests for employment-related records. We prefer one to two years of experience responding to third-party requests for employment-related documents. Solid organizational skills and experience with SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Investigates the factual support for transactions including the preparation of exhibits, charts and diagrams

Reviews and drafts legal documents, correspondence and other materials requiring knowledge of legal terminology and document formats

Organizes and tracks transactions, including research, pleadings, discovery, and/or contract documents

Obtains, organizes, and serves as point of contact for due diligence or projects

Resolves routine legal issues under direction of supervising attorney

Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, precedent, articles, codes and other legal resources

Creates and maintains databases

Serves as liaison for internal clients, law firms, state and federal agencies, vendors, and customers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Paralegal certification or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience
3 plus years paralegal or equivalent work experience
