As a Scrum Master on the Billing Strategy & Design team, you’ll oversee the scrum process from initiation to delivery ensuring the effective use and practices of the agile framework to achieve business values.
WHAT OUR SCRUM MASTERS ENJOY MOST
Supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Collaborating with agile team, other scrum masters, and project managers to ensure alignment and prioritized work is planned and executed appropriately
Facilitating daily stand ups, backlog groomings, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives.
Monitoring team velocity, throughput, burndown, cumulative flow, and communicating actions to meet team commitments
Routinely engaging with senior leadership and executive management to present, educate, build consensus, and drive strategic decisions.
You’ll work in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment. On a given day you’ll coordinate project activities, facilitate scrum meetings, communicate and collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to successfully drive project efforts. You’ll thrive in this role if you can manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and develop strong working relationships with peers and project members.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience: Scrum Master: 3 years; Telecommunications: 4 years
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills: In-depth understanding of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); JIRA, Confluence or other Agile development tools
Abilities: Manage complex and diverse projects, including multiple projects and tasks with shifting priorities in a fast paced environment; Communicate in a clear, straight-forward, manner to all levels of management and peers; Analyze and synthesize multiple points of view against goals for recommendation; Plan, prioritize and organize effectively; Foster change and motivate others
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: Running agile development teams at an enterprise organization
Education: AGILE scrum certified (Certified Scrum Master-CSM), or equivalent
