This position is responsible for all activities related to the National ICOMS billing system including but not limited to configuration, testing, researching and resolving inquiries, assisting with enhancements and upgrades to the billing platform. This position will ensure that requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Interacts with internal users and external vendors.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
•Creates, configures, and supports billing environments including production, test, and training environments. Ensures accurate setup before turning over to users for activity.
•Produce detailed analysis, documentation, and recommendations to management and leadership regarding business problems, business improvement, and business performance.
•Perform research and respond to inquiries from all areas of the organization.
•React and resolve issues received in a timely manner ensuring production stability and proactively avoid customer issues and provide accurate billing for the customer.
•Validate testing for enhancements prior to implementation to ensure daily operations and billing are not adversely impacted.
•Works with vendors related to billing activities.
•Perform other duties as assigned
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
•Ability to analyze and solve problems.
•Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with technical and non technical audiences.
•Ability to work under pressure in a faced pace environment
•Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and organize effectively
•Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
•Ability to use personal computer & software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
•Ability to use Database reporting tools, queries, SQL, macros
•Knowledge of process and project management
•Knowledge of the billing systems and platforms (ICOMS) products and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ IT or related field or equivalent experience, education, and experience.
- 2+ years of System/Business Analysis experience
- 2+ years of Billing System Experience
- 1+ year of Telecommunications experience
- Knowledge of products offered by Charter (complex services & Enterprise products)
- Cable industry and billing systems (ICOMS/CSG) experience
- Knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com
