As the FIA Product Manager, you define, support, price and promote client-facing products through strategic planning and detailed management. You successfully launch new products and capabilities and drive product awareness by supporting product lifecycle management across the internet product portfolio. You ensure the market competitiveness of our FIA by defining product development and enhancement requirements, applying in-depth competitive assessments and developing pricing tactics. You accelerate the sales cycle through the development and delivery of sales training and the support of large and complex sales opportunities. You establish competitive benchmarking and forward-looking response recommendations by performing market analyses to capture key market dynamics, drivers and trends.

You partner with Marketing to create concise and compelling communications of the product value proposition, competitive positioning and differentiators across multiple mediums. You excel at coordinating with Sales, Sales Support, Operations, Client Care, Engineering and external vendors while driving strategic initiatives to the realization of revenue targets. You possess strong presentation skills and in-depth experience developing Sales and Marketing initiatives leveraged by business case analytics. You maximize team success by creating a lasting partnership with other teams and maintaining detailed communications with business and technical stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced office environment ensuring product quality through a continual, proactive focus on driving sales and operational process improvements. You report to the Senior Manager of FIA Product Management for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
  • Identify client needs by obtaining relevant data using market research.
  • Review product specifications and requirements to make informed recommendations on the nature and scope of product lines.
  • Evaluate new product ideas and marketing programs to ensure successful product launches.
  • Improve brand and product awareness by applying product knowledge, evaluating and assessing the market, creating targeted marketing programs, developing promotions and recommending pricing.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop unique strategies for product lines and enhance marketing efforts.
  • Present short- and long-term product sales forecasts and analyses for senior leadership to leverage.
  • Satisfy future client needs by partnering with product teams to provide guidance on future product enhancements.
Required keys for success:
  • Six or more years of experience in telecommunications, software and online services.
  • Six or more years of experience in product development or management in a specific supported product line.
  • Eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly.
  • History of working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals while managing and fostering change.
  • Solid planning, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to listen to multiple viewpoints and synthesize them against established goals.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects while making decisions and resolving issues working under pressure.
  • Repeated success showing sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties.
  • Expert in analyzing and interpreting data and synthesizing recommendations.
  • Business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve business results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
  • Previous experience as a product manager, product developer, sales engineer, financial analyst, pricing analyst or similar role.
  • Comprehensive analytical skillset with demonstrated performance reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and development teams to drive product line success.
  • Opportunity management experience pricing large or complex telecommunications sales opportunities.
  • History of delivering performance analytics, product status, business cases and process improvement recommendations using PowerPoint and Excel with exceptional accuracy, creativity and professionalism.
Your education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
