JOB SUMMARY
Drives results by leading initiatives that include: residential streaming TV application development and deployment; support of ongoing management of residential TV products; development and maintenance of business rules, process documentation, and support tools for internal teams. Reports to and partners with the Sr. Manager, Video Applications on Spectrum TV. Assists with operational performance metrics, provides input on customer communication and notifications, and conducts competitive analysis.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Leads and works with a cross functional team through the development, implementation and launch of new products and features.
  • Assists in management of product lifecycle and roadmap for residential streaming TV applications.
  • Establishes credibility with internal and external team members to direct planning and implementation, while relentlessly driving deliverable timelines.
  • Develops use cases, defines business rules and supports tools for operational implementation on residential streaming TV applications.
  • Works closely with development and test teams to ensure use cases and requirements are implemented as expected.
  • Determines and monitors key performance customer experience indicators for the video application portfolio.
  • Drives initiatives through leadership with Engineering, Operations and Marketing.
  • Drives customer-facing product enhancements that generate increased engagement, revenue growth and market penetration for residential video applications.
  • Executes performance and market analysis for commercial Video products, customer support metrics, achievement of plan objectives, etc.
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with legacy video platforms, including IPG, CPE, VOD and EBIF
  • Knowledge of industry hardware and software standards
  • Strong knowledge of broadband services, technology, and marketing
  • Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products, services, and competitive landscape

Education
BS/BA in business, engineering, or computer science. MBA is preferred.

Related Work Experience
5 years experience in product management and product development
High level of experience working in the cable industry managing commercially launched products

Related Work Experience
Experience working with residential and commercial Video services
Experience in developing and managing interactive program guides
