Responsible for managing IP system team. Implement and enhance consistent IP engineering and management practices to align with company initiatives and expectations. Responsible for developing capital budgets, purchasing, staff development, managing the support of existing products and the deployment of new products. Ensure a high degree of cross functional communication and participation in line with product deployment and support.

Responsible for providing direction and leadership to designated staff. Maintain product integrity and oversee engineering initiatives. Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and performance management of staff. Monitor problematic customer affecting chronic issues. Coordinate and collaborate with the CBO, NTO, Engineering, and Product teams to generate the best experience for our Customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage IP request process across all three entities (L-Charter, L-TWC, and L-BHN) of new Charter.
  • Manage engineering staff involved in the allocation, reclaimation, aggregation, re-numbering and cleanup of IP prefixes and IP addresses. Push the IP users to migrate to IPv6.
  • Plan and integrate the IP Management system with other Charter OSS/BSS such as Spectrum Enterprise IPC, Cisco Prime Home ACS, CNR, Granite, Alethia and etc.
  • Responsible for network discovery and audit functions in the IP management system to ensure the system is the Source of Truth for all the IPv4 and IPv6 space of new Charter.
  • Work with other verticals and teams for root cause analysis of IPv4/IPv6 address related network events
  • Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies and procedures
  • Provide quality assurance support and direction to engineering staff regarding new or existing technologies, company technical quality assurance (TQA) standards.
  • Develop an effective team and assist them in developing themselves and any direct reports as to drive a high performance environment. Ensure team maintains any required certifications as applicable.
  • Monitor current procedures and tests performed in accordance with FCC standards to ensure compliance
BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
  • Minimum of three (3) years Project Management work experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related leadership experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of Engineering and Networking experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to provide coaching and counseling when necessary
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
  • Knowledge of company products and services
  • Knowledge of Electronic theory, Federal Communications Commission regulations and Fiber Optic theory
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to provide effective, results oriented direction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced knowledge of IP management governing bodies such as ARIN
  • Advanced knowledge of company products and services
  • Advanced knowledge of HFC, Advanced Video and IP Networks
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Experienced in deployment of IPv6 in IPv4 networks

The pay for this position has a minimum of $107,600.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
