Job Summary Support life cycle management of WiFi products to Charter Communications customers, working with several stakeholders, including Customer, Field, and Network operations. Develop and test WiFi products utilizing WiFi technology, including 802.11 WiFi Specification, Beam forming, Band steering, Radio Resource management, and airtime fairness. Define product requirements and managing product lifecycle. Oversee defects from field testing of various software releases from supplier and internal teams. Analyze WiFi Customer Premise Equipment technical requirements, design documents with the user stories, and prepare test data. Identify and create detailed test scenarios and use cases to cover all technical requirements of the Spectrum Community Solutions product and Residential WiFi routers to maximize operational performance. Provide technical advice, test different lab configurations, and diagnose varieties of anomalies in the modem/router firmware. Lead product test planning, Quality Assurance test execution, and defect management. Perform data analysis and root cause analysis for defect management, including defect trend analysis from various accounts, regions, and products. Perform functional and operational readiness testing to ensure there are no defect leakages in production. Identify test lab components based on the technical specifications of router firmware releases. Drive key teams to implement improvements in the router roadmap and design. Work closely with third-party vendor for portal development/sprint delivery. Triage defects in JIRA seen in the network configurations with partner functional teams. Participate in Defect Management/Triage follow up with the third-party portal and router vendors. Perform functional testing in the lab environment and regression testing to ensure no defect leakages into production. Employ effective communication techniques to provide project status reports to team members, direct supervisors, and responsible manager. Develop accurate documentation that complies with standards.
Education/Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and 2 years of additional experience in the following requirements. 3 years of experience developing and testing WiFi products utilizing WiFi technology, including 802.11 WiFi Specification, Beam forming, Band steering, Radio Resource management, and airtime fairness. 2 years of experience defining product requirements and managing product lifecycle. 1 year of experience performing data analysis and root cause analysis for defect management, including defect trend analysis from various accounts, regions, and products.

The pay for this position has a minimum of $111280. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as commissions or bonuses.
