JOB SUMMARY Responsible for leading a team of software testers working in an agile environment across several customer facing websites and native mobile applications. Develops and maintains testing strategies and processes, and oversees the overall product testing initiatives. Coordinates and collaborates with Design, Architecture, Development, and Product Owner teams to ensure quality software is delivered.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Leader of the software testing team within the Digital Platforms Agency, News Sports and Communications team.
Manage an innovative, collaborative team to produce exceptional digital products that enhance the customer experience.
Identify and establish performance targets for management of team.
Partner with the leadership team in driving a high-performance culture.
Support team members to help them gain confidence and experience with communication, leadership and collaboration skills, and enable growth and advancement in their careers.
Align team to departmental defaults as well as advocate for deviations from defaults where beneficial to the team.
Uphold team operating rhythm to enable data-driven iterative improvement. Ensure that the team is changing and iterating as a cohesive, inclusive unit
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
Oversees implementation and configuration of automated testing frameworks and related infrastructures
Responsible for and overseeing the collection and analysis data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
Manages Testing deliverables such as documentation, training, completion of testing in-sprint, test case management, etc.
Oversees and ensures proper maintenance and tracking of test devices and test accounts
Provides overall direction for all areas of testing support regarding new and existing technologies and current operating standards
Represents testing in planning meetings on all engineering projects to provide input and guidance on testing best practices
Manages Testing team members, tasks and schedule
Works with development team leads to deliver high quality software on time.
Manage to approved budget plan.
Responsible for the quality and performance of all software solutions created.
Develop an organization that supports outcome delivery, resolving technical debt, responding to production issues, improving quality, and investing in speed and team autonomy.
Perform other duties as requested.

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience
Related Work Experience 6+ years of Software Testing Experience 3-5 years of Experience Leading Complex Projects 3-5 years Team (Direct Staff) Leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills /Abilities and Knowledge Related industry experience- Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online Services Testing Certification ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment Travel as required
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $90600
