JOB SUMMARY Craft in-product, cross-platform messaging for mobile apps, set-top box apps (Roku, etc.), responsive websites, interactive program guides and much more. Contribute to the design of innovative solutions by collaborating with all involved teams and support new and existing features across multiple applications.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Contributes to the user experience of a product by crafting content to fit product needs such as product copy, instructional text, UI labels, error messaging, marketing copy, etc..
Understands design thinking and user experience design best practices; in particular, understand the difference between copywriting and content design.
Helps ensure consistent cross-product messaging across all digital channels (i.e. web, mobile, TV, wearables, print, voice).
Creates copy that works as part of a UX/UI design solution that is engaging and effective to help achieve business goals.
Collaborates with product managers, designers and developers to understand—and write content that meets—business and technical requirements.
Creates/adheres to voice/tone/style/brand content guidelines.
Accepts editorial feedback from stakeholders and peers and be great at incorporating feedback received into the work product. In addition, to be able to offer design feedback to UX/UI designer-peers where appropriate.
Advocate for the customer experience within the organization.
Ownership of content/voice/tone of one or more products.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Possess a solid command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary) and strong attention to detail. Be a team-focused, collaborative person who works (and plays) well with others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed. Experience or understanding of basic UX/product design principles is required. Experience leading creative projects.
Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent real world experience
Related Work Experience Writing experience: 6 - 8 years with at least 50% focus on UX writing Experience with common productivity and design tools (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $72200
