The VP, Alliance Management is a key member of the fast-growing Spectrum Mobile team. Responsible for developing and deploying strategic alliances for Spectrum Mobile, this leader works collaboratively with external stakeholders and senior leadership to establish long-term business partnerships. He/She leads efforts to ensure achievement of all goals and objectives by cultivating business engagements that benefit both Charter and partner organizations.

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Manage relationships to maximize current operations and contractual obligations while preparing key requirements to proactively manage future capabilities across technology, product, operations and business model.

Engage and manage relationships with various external stakeholders including industry specific organizations focused on building or developing programs and initiatives that align with Charter’s mission to provide superior products and services

Develop overall engagement strategy and alliance plan that aligns with Charter’s product and market strategy and alliance partners’ business objectives

Create, execute and maintain alliance agreements

Develop and maintain alliance programs that include joint vision, goals and value propositions in addition to technology, go to market and sales strategies

Build and lead cross-functional teams to execute the alliance plan

Maintain a positive demeanor, encourage different points of view, move teams forward through change, provide timely information, communicate context for business decisions, encourage teamwork and collaboration

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Demonstrated track record of successfully working at a senior executive level to shape and align the strategic agenda of high-value alliances
Excellent negotiation skills and experience in structuring and successfully negotiating complex alliance contracts
Strong knowledge of industry, strategy, business model and the ecosystem of alliance partners
Demonstrated public speaking ability and presentation skills to internal and external audiences
Advanced relationship-management skills, with a superior ability to lead, engage and build consensus through collaboration and influence
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
Track record of building alliances and effectively working with diverse stakeholders
Ability to provide leadership to ensure proper alignment with and execution of the strategic plan
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, problem-solve, identify key issues and creatively overcome internal challenges or obstacles
Results-oriented; ability to thrive in highly dynamic, time sensitive environment
Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, prioritization and implementation skills
High level of critical, analytical and strategic thinking skills
Strong background and experience in wireless technologies – Wi-Fi and/or Mobile Technologies
Strong knowledge of Mobile products and partner market technology 

Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
Ability to analyze and interpret data and synthesize recommendations
Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical skills
Strong business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve results

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s preferred
