JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for assisting in formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding. Gain understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. This role assists with designing and developing new systems by configuring new hardware or software, or uses existing systems in new ways to accomplish additional or different outcomes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of CA Broadcom’s Clarity portfolio management tool and the process/tools associated with portfolio/program/project management
Provide Clarity support to user by processing Cherwell tickets for Clarity requests
Configure new users and permissions, create new project records, and perform daily audits to validate integrations and ensure data integrity with Clarity
Assist in analyzing business partners’ operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
Assess available technologies to create development specifications
Assist with identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
Consult with management and users to determine the needs of the system
Assist in designing a system to meet the business goals
Specify inputs and formatting outputs to meet users’ needs
Support implementation, coordinating tests and observing initiation of the system to validate performance
Look for opportunities to improve internal processes, and implement measures to control risks within the business applications framework
Perform both programming and analysis tasks on business systems
Perform other responsibilities as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to manage multiple projects at one time Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience 0 - 2 years Business Systems or IT related experience
