As a Multi-Tenant Account Sales Representative, you will prospect within your territory to identify and build relationships with local property managers and leasing agents to sell the power of our residential solutions for use at their properties. This individual contributor will have you in the office and out in your sales territory where you will share our best deals and bundled services to tenants, working every lead from initial contact to sale.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales objectives by driving sales volume and increasing penetration across assigned leads and property portfolios
  • Engage prospective residential customers through door-to-door outreach and lobby events while cultivating ongoing relationships with property management teams
  • Address customer concerns and complaints in line with Spectrum policies ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor activity within assigned territory and provide timely updates to management regarding pricing changes, promotions and market shifts
  • Actively contribute to sales meetings and training sessions to share insights and refine skills while aligning with team objectives
  • Complete all required sales documentation including orders, reports and account dispositions in compliance with quality control standards
  • Collect, safeguard and accurately account for funds while issuing receipts in accordance with Spectrum guidelines

Working Conditions

  • Spend approximately 80% of work hours outdoors in all seasons with exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Lift items weighing 10–20 pounds over distances of 20–30 feet as needed
  • Experience moderate noise levels during work activities
  • Work variable hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and split days off

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • 1+ year(s) in sales or customer service

Skills

  • Proven ability in sales or customer service, persuasive sales techniques and clear communication to effectively engage prospects
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly including in inclement weather using a reliable personal vehicle
  • Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications and communications devices including PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, converters and wireless devices
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record that meets Spectrum standards

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years sales or relevant work experience

Skills

  • Understanding of communications technologies and data networking fundamentals
  • Background in cable or telecommunications services
  • Experience educating consumers about products and services
  • Previous success in sales, prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is advantageous

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $33,200.00 and $55,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.


In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $55,000.
