JOB SUMMARY

The Advanced Advertising Specialist is a strategic partner to Advanced Advertising Sales Managers. This position will monitor high priority addressable & data-driven streaming campaigns to ensure the campaign elements are received and executed as intended. This individual will ensure accuracy of campaign implementations and communicate with the Advanced Ad Operations group to resolve any concerns. This individual will have a passion for marketing and advertising sales and will be closely aligned with other sales team members and cross functional groups. This position requires strong communication, organization and attention to detail, in a fast paced sales environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Advanced Advertising Sales Managers to understand client objectives & ROIs

  • Create effective data driven multi-screen advertising schedules for all clients.

  • Utilize Spectrum’s Set Top Box data, Third Party Data, and other research metrics to make proposal and audience recommendations.

  • Understand best practices surrounding multi-screen campaigns and maximize inventory usage to ensure proposal delivery

  • Manage pre-sale workflow from RFP to IO; work cross functionally with Audience Creation, Research, Yield and Sales team to ensure campaign success.

  • Oversee post-sale workflow with Account Coordinator; manage campaign input, impression delivery, and post-sale reporting timelines.

  • Manage advanced advertising campaigns across our various internal systems, while ensuring order accuracy, creative implementation and billing accuracy.

  • Assist with escalation of concerns around campaign delivery, optimizations and troubleshooting campaign issues to AdOps and/or Finance teams.

  • Manage client relationships and act as point of contact for any client questions and or concerns. Need the ability to critically analyze and quickly resolve issues to ensure client happiness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience in media sales

  • Clear knowledge of media terms as well as media formulas & calculations is a plus.

  • Familiarity with and experience in digital marketing; understanding of online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies.

  • Previous experience supporting a team of Sales, Advertising, or Marketing professionals is preferred.

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with overarching skill to translate data and information, prioritize workload, and work against demanding deadlines

  • Experience in computer software including MS Office and Spreadsheets at a minimum is required.

  • Experience with CRM platforms and Ad Serving software a plus

  • Ability to adapt to change quickly as well as be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

  • Collaborative mindset, ready to work with multiple cross functional departments.
