The Director of Campaign Strategy will lead a team who will work closely with Sales, Digital, Product and Marketing teams to develop full scale integrated creative packaging strategies while educating and scaling out creative best practices based on current insights, data and consumer trends. This position will participate in early marketing and sales strategy ideation meetings to ensure large scale integrated campaigns are pitched and executed to meet client’s needs and expectations. The role will heavily focus on how to market and execute against multicultural marketing objectives. This position reports to the Vice President of Production & Creative Services.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Manage a team responsible for creating the packaging strategies for our client campaign/creative needs to drive client results and grow core revenue.
Work with field teams to develop sellable and scalable integrated creative solutions for key and target clients.
Build and manage enterprise integrated client relationships including prospecting, creative brief initiation and presentations.
Partner with Kernel field teams and support teams to easily sell the importance of creative strategies to clients. These are creative strategies that meet and exceed client objectives.
Provide insights, research and consumer trend input around integrated campaign design, including requirements for success and in order to achieve goals for clients across all categories.
Work closely with Kernel team members to ensure that the internal production processes run smoothly and efficiently to ultimately ensure the highest quality end product related to all creative and production services.
Facilitate ongoing process improvement and documentation/sharing of best practices.
Build enterprise relationships to create a collaborative pre-sale creative approach and ensure Kernel is maximized across all Sales Initiatives.
Work with Kernel and support teams to develop an on-going multicultural strategy including training.
Recommend new strategic initiatives to drive long-term business objectives.
Develop internal and external training materials and white papers to provide as much value to grow insights, knowledge while growing the Kernel brand as a market leader in creative forward thinking, multicultural marketing and general creative problem solving.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Background in multicultural marketing and creative best practices
Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of developing high quality; insights that drive creative ideas and compelling integrated concepts for client campaigns in multiple categories
Understanding of best practices in social media and online
In-depth knowledge of consumer trends
Ability to lead research initiatives and be a marketing leader who can educate a large team on marketplace best practices that influences creative decisions
Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to details in a fast paced environment a must
Knowledge of production elements
Excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills in multiple environments
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; Masters preferred
Related Work Experience Management experience (5+ yrs) Interactive creative advertising and marketing environment (8-10 yrs+)
