What we’re looking for: The Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for monitoring projects from contract creation to financial reconciliations across the consumer marketing, creative services, digital and research groups. This role requires thorough understanding of financial principals coupled with business planning acumen for creative production and media planning. This position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring budgets, re-forecasting, and analysis of operating expenses. Assist with all aspects of the purchasing process. Reconciles purchase orders to invoices and work to solve discrepancies while maintaining adherence to budget. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors projects from contract kick-off through reconciliation across the Spectrum Networks footprint.
Spearheads contract development and execution in partnership with legal.
Liaises with internal partners in finance and legal to track status of all key projects.
Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Manages financial data and strategy on behalf of consumer marketing/research/digital/product groups to prepare for annual/quarterly budget planning and monthly close which includes accruals, variance explanations, and reforecasts.
Processes POs and approves invoices.
Onboard new vendors and liaises with vendors throughout project lifecycle as it pertains to contracts, invoices and payment.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications: Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person , on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments
Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
Excellent critical thinking skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
Knowledge of Operating and Capital Financial Statements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
4 + years Business planning/Financial analysis or related experience
2 + years Marketing/Agency Environment

Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
Varying schedule due to, breaking news and/or daily news coverage requirements
Provide 24x7, 365 days per year, on-call support. May entail phone or physical presence at the facility for equipment failure or other disasters. This includes, but is not limited to equipment and power failures, loss of contracted services, storms or severe weather, and schedule conflicts
