The Strategic Product Manager will help lead the development of product strategies, specifically around product solutions, platforms, and Data as a Service for Spectrum Reach. This person will help drive strategy, and execution by developing business cases & requirements, product use cases & requirements, product roadmaps, and providing business stakeholder leadership to cross functional execution teams.
The Strategic Product Manager will drive products through all stages of the strategic product's life cycle including definition, development, release and post-release activities to ensure that the initiatives transition from strategies to prioritized initiatives as part Spectrum Reach’s overall product roadmap and vision. The right person for this role obsesses over details, thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced collaborative environment, wants an opportunity to make a significant impact and jumps at the opportunity to provide deep subject-matter expertise. To be successful in this role, you should have deep industry understanding on all things data & product solutions, as well as a sophistication for Advanced TV ecosystem.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the development of the long-term product vision, specifically around data and their solutions at Spectrum Reach for the Advanced Television marketplace
Lead business case and product strategy efforts by working closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Engineering, Research to drive strategic product roadmap
Provide support in the productization of data, analytics and insights services in collaboration with product development and research team
Evaluate new strategic partnerships within the Ad Tech & Platform ecosystem to enhance product vision and differentiation with the marketplace
Manage project timelines and scope based on a detailed understanding of needs, requirements, and resources
Informs senior management on key opportunities, potential risks, and potential partnerships
Help develop and implement go to market plan for our advanced new data solutions including but not limited to Data as a Service, & Programmer Services
Drive continuous improvement through the strengthening of tools, skills, infrastructure, and process improvements required to achieve business objectives
Synthesize insights from research, clients, usage data, and sales feedback to prioritize improvements and new feature ideas that will deliver business objectives and customer benefits
Coordinate and partner with PMO, Operations and Finance to ensure business case and product requirements are aligned with operational workflow, financial requirements, and PMO prioritization and process.
5+ years of experience & proven success in a product management or equivalent role
Strong product and experience of leveraging marketplace needs for business growth, combined with domain subject-matter expertise and proven thought leadership
An extensive track record that demonstrates effectiveness in driving business results through product development
A passion for creating advanced advertising and media products, services and features that are market leading, innovative and deliver exceptional consumer value
Demonstrate and foster a sense of urgency, strong commitment, and accountability while making sound decisions and achieving goals
Deep knowledge and understanding of data in complex Advanced TV & Digital landscape, including data products, governance and solutions
The ability to develop and articulate a compelling vision and generate necessary consensus
Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
Superior organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to creatively solve complex problems and communicate the solutions in a clear, concise manner
Experience leading company-wide initiatives with diverse stakeholders a plus
