Director, Treasury & Securitization
JOB SUMMARY
This is a unique opportunity to help create, launch and manage Charter’s asset securitization infrastructure and financing program, which will initially target Charter’s mobile equipment receivables.
The Treasury Operations team, based in St. Louis, MO, is responsible for the day to day cash/liquidity management and cashflow forecasting of Charter Communications, the 5th largest communications provider in the United States and a Fortune 100 company. Treasury Operations also leads compliance tracking against Charter’s $100 billion of credit facilities and bonds, manages commercial banking relationships, supports the payment acceptance needs of the broader organization, including over 700 retail stores, and performs account reconciliations.
The Dir, Treasury & Securitization is a leadership role in the cross functional development and implementation team designing and implementing Charter’s securitization systems and controls. It will coordinate Charter’s internal resources as well as outside vendors and systems to ensure a successful launch. The Dir, Treasury & Securitization will be responsible for day to day management and compliance of the program to ensure asset optimization in the securitization pool as well as reporting to internal and external constituents, determining how changes in the Charter’s business may impact securitization, and staying abreast of industry developments to refine Charter’s securitization strategy.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Treasury, Accounting, Finance experience, preferably in the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector ‐ 7+
Corporate or Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Big 4 Audit Accounting or equivalent Consulting experience ‐ 7+
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Experience implementing and managing securitization programs
CPA, CFA, CTP or equivalent with practical experience
Build and manage external relationships (e.g. investment banks, vendors, contractors, etc.)

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Key member of a cross functional team (IT, Accounting, ERP, Legal, Credit Services, Treasury, Corporate Finance and Mobile) responsible
- for the implementation of internal systems required to track and report on assets being securitized
- Work closely with Treasurer and Corporate Finance team to determine optimal program size and structure to meet Charter’s overall goals
- Analyze current and historical Mobile Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) notes receivable data to develop asset stratification, assess risk considerations and cohort performance
- Manage pool of assets included in the securitization program while working closely with internal and external constituents to provide necessary reporting and compliance
- Continually improve our processes to drive more efficient/effective execution
- Assist with other Treasury Operations initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Perform other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Deep knowledge of billing, ERP, accounting and mobile device payments
- Project management experience in both leadership and team member roles
- Team working orientation with ability to build relationships
- Intellectual curiosity with strong business judgement and ability to advocate positions
- Make decisions and solve problems while working to deadlines
- Effective presentation of information to senior business leaders
- Understanding of Accounting and Finance theory and practice
- Advanced Excel skills to build, quality check and interpret financial models
- High level of attention to detail
Required Education
