JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for identifying, recommending and helping implement technical solutions that address Charter’s key business requirements, issues and enhancements in the P2P and Contracts areas. Provides technical solutions to meet end users’ needs with fit/gap analysis for using Out Of the Box (OOTB) solutions. This role requires strong knowledge in the Business Unit(s) we support as well as a technical understanding of the organization’s procurement systems and capabilities. Utilizes understanding of both business process and technical capabilities to implement solutions that solve Charter’s complex business needs and challenges.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and/or business processes to meet user requirements. Prepare and maintain supporting functional and technical documentation

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and clearly define the technical solution using OOTB solution as first priority before requesting enhancement

Develop high-level project scope, deliverables and milestones

Develop business process design (or redesign) and documentation as needed

Work closely with Data Architect and Development Team to clearly document data requirements, source elements, and business rules for development projects that are understandable to both business customers and Development Teams

Collaborate with Data Architect to develop reporting specifications that meet business requirements and organizational needs

Manage and monitor project progress – elicit requirements, system/port design, user/functional/technical requirements documentation, test plan/scenario creation, final defect tracking

Create process and business flow diagrams using Visio or other tools, in collaboration with the development and business teams

Review user access, support audit requirements and identify any business roles changes to avoid segregation of duties conflicts

Stay abreast of best practices and changing functionalities in the various systems to maintain domain expertise and proactively make recommendations for enhancements or changes

Understand the interaction of data between the various P2P and Contracts applications and ERP

Manage and monitor enhancement requests for P2P and Contracts platform for key functionality not currently available in the product and provide feedback to stakeholders

Ensure effective communication with all areas of the business that may impact the scope, risk and resources of the work effort being managed

Communicate, build strong relationships with, and work closely with P2P support and internal IT to resolve system, data related and/or workflow issues

When necessary, identify and define required enhancements for Procure to Pay (P2P) solutions in SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, and Fieldglass along with other Ariba modules like Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP) and any other eProcurement systems

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2005 / 2012, Data Analysis, Excel, Access, Transact-SQL, Stored Procedures and Functions, Power Pivot/View
Knowledge of physical database structures, disaster recovery and best practices
Proven trouble shooting/debugging skills with ability to isolate and resolve problems
Ability to work independently and on teams to solve problems and manage multiple projects and priorities under time constraints
Proficiency in all aspects of the development process with strong technical problem solving skills
Ability to build strong relationships with Procurement, IT and end users/Business Units
Motivated, self-directed work ethic, willing to aggressively pursue individual and team goals
Strong customer service skills
Strong detail orientation with emphasis on accuracy
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data structures
Ability to take non-technical requests and convert them to technical specifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels
Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
