Internal Financial Reporting Analyst

JOB SCOPE

Responsible for the generation/enhancement of monthly financial statements as well as analysis of Corporate & Regional monthly trends and variance from plan. Coordination with Regional personnel to explain and document these variances.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Generate and maintain monthly reporting packages for all applicable product lines costs
  • Assist with operating budget & forecast submissions for COGS, ARPU, expenses, Costs and Regulatory Fees inclusive of building upload files, backup support documentation and check totals
  • Perform monthly product gross margin analysis to help identify financial cost savings and revenue enhancing opportunities
  • Coordinate with owners of financial reporting systems to develop and implement enhancements to current reporting
  • Analysis and reporting of ARPU/Revenue trending to identify revenue gaps/opportunities
  • Assist in the development and reporting of KPIs and Metrics related to Charter Business
  • Generate and maintain monthly reporting relating to Charter Business, inclusive of P&L detail and detailed revenue/expense reporting
  • Generate and maintain monthly reporting expenses for assigned areas and report on variances
  • Generate and maintain monthly subscriber reporting
  • Analysis of costs by location to help identify potential savings and effectively communicate opportunities to Manager
  • Prepare and submit journal entries for monthly CABS billed revenue and necessary accruals
  • Prepare and submit monthly accruals as necessary
  • Assist in tracking/billing of expenses related to divested properties
  • Create and maintain COIN sites used to post all monthly reporting and other related materials
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Generate detailed regular and ad hoc analysis to support special projects or products
  • Perform other duties as requested
BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • 3 Years Financial reporting and analysis experience
  • 1 Years Operational analysis experience
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Advanced knowledge of personal computer operation and software applications (i.e., spreadsheet, word processing)
  • Knowledge of telecommunications products and services
  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures (including Sarbanes-Oxley)
