Litigation Support Analyst- eDiscovery
JOB SUMMARY
Charter is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to join the eDiscovery team in their St. Louis office. This individual will assist in supporting the Litigation team by providing eDiscovery and Project Management services. In addition to supporting the technical aspects of the Legal Hold and eDiscovery processes including performing data exports, data processing, culling, searching, and creating and running productions, this position will also provide duties such as creating users and groups, adjusting coding layouts, updating tracking reports, and more. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of litigation and eDiscovery processes, technical aptitude, and the ability and motivation to learn new tools quickly.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the custodian email journaling process ensuring email data is preserved in accordance with a Legal Hold
Track and control data collection activity
Ensure structured and unstructured data is preserved appropriately
Research and collect custodial data as required
Process custodian data using eDiscovery software
Perform keyword searching, filtering and culling techniques
Create and run productions using eDiscovery software
Keep abreast of current best-practices, emerging technologies and solutions in the context of eDiscovery and Legal Hold
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders with all internal and external parties involved
Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the eDiscovery services
Troubleshoot, research, diagnose, and resolve reported incidents and issues
Performs other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy, professionalism and client-service orientation
Knowledge of software used in the electronic discovery process
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred
Detailed knowledge of litigation and related discovery processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and vendors
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to effectively present information to management
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Working knowledge of enterprise-class production IT systems such as Exchange email, ERP systems, and SharePoint
Relativity experience preferred
Nuix experience preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Paralegal or eDiscovery certificate preferred
