JOB SUMMARY
Key focus areas are to conduct Compliance and Ethics investigations to ensure ongoing compliance with corporate policy, laws and regulations in addition to performing testing of internal controls in accordance with Management’s assessment of internal controls over financial reporting in conjunction with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, Section 404.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in performing the planning, fieldwork, and reporting for Compliance and Ethics investigations to ensure compliance with established company policies and procedures
Assist in the development of investigation or Sarbanes-Oxley compliance objectives, scopes, plans and procedures

Ensure work is documented, accurate and complete according to department standards

Prepare investigation and audit summaries and reviews with senior management providing observations and conclusions. In addition, identify and communicate control gaps and evaluate management action plans

Develop and maintain effective relationships within the team and individuals throughout the organization

Keep abreast of relevant business developments and evolving risk areas

Perform other duties as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to cultivate channels of communication (both written and verbal) to effectively influence at all levels of the organization
Strong leadership skills in the areas of leading through influence, relationship building and strategy development and execution
Ability to work independently and execute and manage multiple projects at one time with conflicting priorities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest degree of professional standards
Strong understanding of business processes, financial reporting and information technology audit and control frameworks such as SOX, COBIT, ITIL, and PCI
Ability to evaluate systems and procedures and develop improvements
Strong knowledge of risk assessment and familiarity with tools and techniques used to provide control and monitoring mechanisms
Proficiency in utilizing software applications and advanced functions (e.g. Word, Excel, databases and Visio)
Knowledge of cable television products and services

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field

Related Work Experience Number of Years
Experience in ethics and compliance investigations 2-3
Experience in internal or public accounting 3-4
Ethics and Compliance experience required

Certifications and/or Licenses
CPA, CIA, CISSP, CISA and/or CFE preferred

Office environment
Exposure to a moderate level of noise
Expected travel is approximately 25%-30%
