JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for delivering high quality audits, risk management & control services over the IT infrastructure, applications and processes. Responsible for delivering all aspects of the IT audit process under the direction of the IT Director Internal Audit Services, including planning, identifying controls used to manage risks, as well as managing the IT team in developing and executing test plans to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the planning, fieldwork, and reporting for IT audits to verify compliance with established company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to:
    • Manage the development of the audit plans and procedures; verify alignment with IT principles and established company policies and procedures for audited processes and technologies
    • Manage the project team in the execution of testing, including completion of reviews of audit work, where applicable, to verify assignments are documented accurately, completely and in alignment with department standards
    • Manage the preparation and communicate audit observations and management recommendations
  • Oversee the development of the IT scope and procedures on Operational Audit projects that have an IT component.
  • Own and execute back office duties as assigned
  • Train, supervise, and set performance expectations for team members and provide coaching and development throughout the audit process, including delivery of formal feedback at the end of each audit
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships within the team and management throughout the organization
  • Contribute ideas and opinions to the team
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to communicate, written and verbally, effectively to influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to define effective audit plans and effectively coach experienced IT auditors
  • Leadership skills in the areas of leading through influence, relationship building, and strategy development and execution
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and familiarity with tools and techniques used to provide control and monitoring mechanisms
  • Knowledge of IT audit methodologies and control frameworks of IT platforms, processes, systems, and controls, including areas such as network security, logical access, and change management controls at an infrastructure and application level, databases, and systems maintenance
  • Understanding of business processes, financial reporting, and information technology audit and control frameworks such as SOX and COBIT
  • Proficiency and familiarity with various network architectures, services, systems, applications, development platforms, and network/security technologies
  • Knowledge of Internet and cable television products and services

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • MBA, preferred

Related Work Experience
  • Experience in IT audit, Compliance, or Technology (8 - 10 years)
  • Management experience (3+ years)
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 experience desired)
  • Experience with various technologies, including networks, platforms, and applications

Education and Certificates
  • CISA certificate preferred
  • CPA, CIA, CISSP, CISM, and/or MBA desirable

  • This role offers a Hybrid work schedule
  • Expected travel is approximately 10 - 15%
