Customer Security & Compliance Analyst

JOB SUMMARY
The Customer Security and Compliance team is providing our customers with a secure customer experience. This position will be responsible for protecting our customers against rapidly evolving security, compliance and privacy threats.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with IT, Product, Legal and Security teams to ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and new security / fraud threats emerging through potential identity / authentication compromises

Executes initiatives at the direction of program leadership

Contributes to the Customer Operations Customer Security Incident response playbook

Engages in incident responses with IT Security and Network Security 24/7 as needed

Collaborates on root-cause analysis and identifying optimal responses to security incidents

Conducts post mortems after each incident to identify continuous improvement opportunities

Collaborates with corporate legal department to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are identified and incorporated into applicable training programs / courses and knowledge materials

Tracks metrics and creates reporting associated with Customer Operations and Security programs

Collaborates effectively with contractors and other vendor resources


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Knowledge of network/cyber security and social engineering threats
  • Knowledge of call center operations
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to document, prepare, and deliver data-driven presentations
  • Ability to influence internal and external key stakeholders and build consensus
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
  • Ability to drive results within a matrixed organization
  • Expert level experience using all Microsoft Office applications


Education
BA/BS required in a related field (Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, and MIS) or equivalent experience;

Related Work Experience
3 + Years - Security or Compliance experience within heavily-regulated industries
such as Telecommunications, Healthcare, and/or Financial
3 + Years - Experience in IT, Security or Call Center Operations
