JOB SUMMARY
The Spectrum Director, Store Operations Inventory Support provides leadership support to the Corporate and Field Store Operations teams and provides management of key strategic operational initiatives related to inventory management, reconciliation and audit controls in support of sales performance goals across the Spectrum Store organization.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience, ensure adequate inventory in stores to promote sales growth, and oversight of company assets for loss prevention.

Leads a team in the researching and resolution of operational issues, including but not limited to, product replenishment, lost, stolen or damaged products, shipping concerns and other inventory related issues. Responsible for directing the identification of process and program opportunities for increased efficiency and mitigation of risk to loss of company assets. Partners with Store Enterprise Mobile Operations leaders on resolution.

Develops technical support strategies and ensures accurate inventory data management in appropriate technologies.

Negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with both internal and external customers and service providers. Monitors service delivery to agreed targets and confirms standards are met.

Partners with other members of the Corporate and Field Operations leadership teams to provide analytical and statistical support for internal and external reporting needs. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual executive level reporting summarizing support, inventory control and shrinkage.

Develops, manages and clearly communicates overall inventory plans, strategies and requirements to field leaders. Implements best practices in process efficiencies and cost improvement programs, including monitoring and evaluating results.

Partners with Store Operations leaders to ensure employees are trained and manages strict enforcement of all company procedures and guidelines. Provides recommendations and works in partnership with Enterprise Store Operations teams on process changes and efficiencies based on results from inventory reconciliation and supports ticketing and investigation resolution.

Directs, attends and participates in operations leadership and employee staff meetings and activities as necessary.

Leads team in the management of JDE reconciliation resource and ensures risks are escalated as needed. Partners with Mobile Supply Chain and Accounting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually on inventory reconciliation reporting and auditing.
Assists with other store operations functions and responsibilities as requested by leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Extensive knowledge of operational protocols in a retail store environment
Proficiency in inventory management in a retail store environment
Strong change management skills and techniques
High level of confidentiality
Experience in organizing/prioritizing work and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Highly developed analytical, statistical, quantitative and deductions skills.
Ability to build strategic partnerships within all areas of organization by exhibiting excellent interpersonal, leadership, influencing and presentation skills
Able to articulate a passion for delivering a great customer experience and driving for results during multiple roles in their career
Competency in personal technology, such as mobile device and personal video platforms
Knowledge and ability to use personal computers and software applications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience
8+ years: Leadership experience
8+ years: Inventory Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of mobile/telecommunications products and services
Leadership skills to function as a strategic business leader able to align with company’s culture and values
Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of retail store operations
History of identifying operational risks, effectively communicating those to their leaders and developing response plans
