Responsible for supporting launch communications in Spectrum’s mobile business. This role will work in the product organization with subject matter experts and external OEM partners to create product messaging for broader organization. The role will report to the VP, Launch Management but will operate in a highly matrixed environment with numerous key stakeholders.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Research and write positioning documents, creative briefs and other materials geared to our internal comms and training to support mass media advertising, training, press releases and other copy to support customer & media facing channels.
Manage a strategic communications roadmap that helps to build Charter's position in Mobile.
Creates and/or adapts core product messaging for new product, promotions and feature launches that will be adapted for internal and external communications, creative, training and other launch related activities
Inject a “story-telling perspective” into Charter's launch communications strategy, particularly through positioning key messaging that aligns with Spectrum’s customer value proposition and differentiates Charter from the competition.
Assist as needed in localizing communications, messaging and training materials.
Research communication outlets for building Charter’s Mobile presence (e.g. blogs, print publications, websites, online and social media, etc.).
Produce multiple materials and manage numerous projects simultaneously within deadlines.
Be familiar with and help develop Charter positions, policies and messages.
Interact with employees in all business disciplines and at all levels in the company.
Support promotion of Mobile within all of Charter brands and businesses, new services, initiatives, improvements and general information across multiple platforms - print, TV, online.

Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Excellent writing and communication skills required
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with stakeholders in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Ability to quickly understand the importance of product features and specifications and articulate them in compelling and creative messaging
Highly collaborative and motivated to support initiatives in a cross-functional matrixed environment
Understands best in class communications and can bring this leadership to help differentiates Spectrum Mobile in a competitive market place
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to attend to detail
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks
Knowledge of television, Internet and phone products and services, as well as those of our competitors in industry
Demonstrates internet research ability
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
5+ years in communications related position
