JOB TITLE: Mgr, Loss Prevention

JOB SUMMARY
The Mgr, Loss Prevention will be responsible for managing and executing the operations of the loss prevention function. Manages implementation of industry leading loss prevention policies, processes and procedures. Collaborates with regional and national stakeholders across Charter business groups and partners to provide guidance and direction. Utilizes knowledge and understanding of store operations that may directly/indirectly affect Loss Prevention goals and objectives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with field and store teams to identify inventory loss prevention opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Manage the implementation of industry leading loss prevention policies, processes and procedures across distribution centers and spectrum store locations
  • Collaborate with regional and store teams on loss prevention training
  • Drive the implementation of analytics to support an effective loss prevention program, partnering with retail operations, and customer operations stakeholders
  • Act as the liaison across regions and staff, supports the post-loss resolution process and shares key learnings and/or improvements across distribution centers and store locations
  • Proactively identifies and reports on exposure to loss of company assets, and provides guidance to minimize risk
  • Investigate store inventory and losses, and communicates with local law enforcement, when needed
  • Ensure financial and operating objectives of loss prevention projects and operations are being met
  • Support the development and execution of industry leading loss prevention training and investigations capabilities across regions
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support evaluation, selection and implementation of loss prevention technologies and analytics related capabilities across retail infrastructure
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for corporate functional partners and interfaces regularly with businesses
  • Perform other duties as requested





REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Ability to show judgment, initiative, and accomplish job duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs, and expectations
  • Significant experience with latest loss trends (e.g., Organized Retail Crime [ORC], identity and payment fraud, etc.) and industry leading policies, processes and procedures to proactively mitigate losses across a wide range of loss scenarios
  • Good understanding of best in class store protection / hardening, inventory control, surveillance and POS based analytics solutions and technologies

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in an area relevant to the loss prevention field preferred

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in asset protection / loss prevention focused on retail environments at leading wireless carriers or third-party retailer, including leadership positions

WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment
Up to 50% of travel for business purposes in and out of state
