JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the strategic development, oversight and execution of effective advertising strategies and tactics to drive company growth. Directly manages mass media, including Print (Valpak, Shared Mail), and digital video advertising campaigns from inception to completion, including post campaign analysis and report. Influence Media planning as well as creative and messaging strategies in Mass tactics. Partners with outside agencies and internal stakeholders to develop campaigns that include TV, radio, digital video, digital audio, and shared mail. This position also supports programs to positively impact perception of the Spectrum Business brand to improve brand consideration, while driving new customer relationships and reinforcing benefits to maximize upsell and retention.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create advertising plans and creative campaigns that generate quality sales leads in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Manage the execution of mass media advertising, including briefing agencies, evaluating concepts, managing the production process, attending shoots and recording sessions, etc.
Participate in the development and management of the overarching brand strategy for the organization, including the brand positioning, core brand promise, and messaging strategy that will be utilized across creative materials.
Supervise agencies to deliver best-in-class creative while meeting timelines and budget expectations.
Develops and communicates campaign calendars and ensure flawless execution.
Manage overall performance and budget, working to increase conversion and efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of mass media advertising strategies
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Strong complex project management skills, demonstrating the ability to manage priorities, set and meet deadlines, and manage budgets for multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in deliverables
Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically
Ability to work independently and make recommendations and decisions autonomously
Ability to think creatively
Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback in a constructive way
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in other desktop applications
Ability to conduct formal presentations to all levels of management
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Related Work Experience Number of Years
Industry experience in consumer technology or related industries 5+
Experience in managing integrated marketing and brand campaigns
Experience in brand management a plus
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services
Business-to-business marketing strategies
Experience with BtoB marketing, especially small-to-medium businesses
Some travel may be required
