Manager Pricing and Promotions

JOB SUMMARY
This position plays a critical role in the development, implementation, measurement and evaluation of pricing and promotional strategies for a full range of advanced residential broadband products and services, including Spectrum TV® programming, Spectrum Internet®, and Spectrum Voice®. Directly supports revenue optimization, customer life cycle management, subscriber growth, and the achievement business profitability targets. Develops and expands a framework that effectively measures offer and pricing performance across customer segments, markets, products and competitive landscape.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Provides critical information and insights to help drive business decisions
  • Uses various financial and economic models as well as other relevant data in order to assess the impact and performance of residential pricing and promotional strategy, given a changing economic, multicultural and competitive landscape
  • Maintains and enhances the process for new offer/pricing development (or changes to existing), review, approval, documentation, and implementation
  • Key contributor in the development and optimization of a dynamic, real-time offer prioritization/presentation agent-facing sales platform
  • Manages “promotional roll” programs to ensure optimized pricing during customers’ transition from promotional to retail rates
  • Regular reporting on offer usage, performance and impact
  • Ad hoc research and reporting requests
  • Maintains Offer Management Department SharePoint site
  • Maintains Executive Playbook of promotional offers and retail pricing
  • Ensures offer implementation/usage follows approved business rules
  • Performs other job-related duties as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and subsequently provide strategic recommendations
  • Ability to integrate data from multiple sources
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to integrate information from multiple sources
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications such as advanced Excel

Education
BS/BA in Marketing, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience
3+ year Marketing, Pricing or Finance work experience
CATV or related work experience a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strategic knowledge of Video, Internet, Voice, Mobile industries
  • Demonstrated experience gathering and analyzing data and providing strategic recommendations specifically related to offers and pricing
  • Knowledge of marketing research, data analysis, and related functions

WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment, up to 20% travel
