JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting the operational and financial planning and analysis needs of the strategy arm of the retail partnerships sales channel. Responsible for managing the successful development and execution of data-driven financial reporting and data analysis. This position manages the creation and submission of information and data analysis for Retail Partners focusing on analysis of testing, current and future business models and predicative modeling & analytics. Provides recurring reporting on newly deployed processes and future business opportunities within each retail partner’s line of business.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Performs data analysis and trending of key performance indicators to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Creates reports and data driven presentations- identifies trends and occurrences in data and translates findings into various mediums including text, charts, graphs, displays, tables.
Develops and provides ad hoc reports and compiles reporting as required by the Sr Mgr Strategy and/or Vice President of Retail Partnerships.
Provide insight and analysis of current business practices, affiliate compensation plans and models, as well as divisional/regional performance analysis.
Act as key source of information in how tests, new business models and contracts will or are performing, and provides insight into possible areas of improvement.
Provide oversight of complex data management, including reviewing, analyzing; providing solutions and visibility of this data to department leadership.
Accountable for the execution of departmental processes and methodologies.
Ensure complete analysis and understanding of interdependencies, business risks, risk mitigates that could impact or be impacted by the delivery of proof of concepts, new products, services, processes and/or support technologies.
Ensure all defined business rules/policies are documented, implemented as designed.
Responsible for directing analysis to include analyzing costs and metrics.
Perform other duties as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers and suppliers, in person, on the phone and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward and professional manner
Ability to work and model a high sense of ownership, collaboration, and execution excellence.
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
Ability to effectively present information to management
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems
Knowledge of telecommunications industry preferred
Experience in SQL reporting from a variety of database platforms (Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server)
Ability to analyze key performance indicators/metrics
Expertise in reading/writing SQL queries/scripts
Ability to present complex data to cross functional audiences in an easy to understand manner
Experience in ICOMS billing system; Avaya Call Management System, eWorkforce Management and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Working knowledge of Tableau 9.0
Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures, including Ariba system
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Project and Office Suite (advanced excel skills)
Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Economics or related field, equivalent training, education and experience
