The Mgr, Treasury & Securitization position will lead reporting & servicing, surveillance, ABS Suite operation, and mobile device installment receivables data analytics for our mobile EIP securitization.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and distribute monthly servicer reports for securitization facilities, manage and operate ABS Suite, our securitization system
Ensure compliance with securitization transaction terms such as cash remittance obligations
Represent the Treasury team in operational and reporting system projects that may impact EIPs to ensure securitization consideration are properly addressed
Monitor, interpret and evaluate EIP portfolio performance and KPIs to inform decision making by executive leadership, and to generate ideas for the continuous optimization of financing structures
Interact with securitization lenders, prepare lenders’ data packet for new financing facilities, or renewal and address questions as they arise
Cultivate relationships with internal EIP portfolio stakeholders, such as Marketing, Customer Operations, Credit, Accounting, Tax, Legal etc. to drive cross functional collaboration
Manage and operate ABS Suite as a SME and lead continuous system improvement
Run day to day business functions as a super user such as multiple pool cuts, end of month reporting, data table and modifications enabled for the super-user role
Support the enhancement and automation of ABS Suite, implement deal structural changes for new deals or renewals including defining and validation of business requirements, perform User Acceptance Testing before production releases
Manage Service Level Agreement of ABS Suite and the associated feeder systems with internal and external service provider to ensure system performance
Shorten ABS Suite production processing time and drive improvement and efficiency
Prepare monthly servicer reports
Prepare securitization lender data packet for securitization transactions
Conduct Ad-hoc data analysis to identify, validate unexpected EIP origination and performance trends, and investigate through corroboration of datasets
Work with IT & Business Intelligence teams representing Treasury to ensure the EIPs insight and reporting toolsets are built for securitization needs
Represent Treasury participating in the assessment of EIP E2E business process and system changes and evaluate the downstream impact on securitization
Ensure securitization data changes and needs resulting from the EIPs process and system changes are identified, communicated, managed with internal and external service provider to ensure data alignment between the ABS Suite and the feeder systems
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Master level of proficiency in Excel, SQL/Python, and experiences with data analysis with large scale data
Ability to articulate complex ideas with brevity, simplicity, and impact
Natural strategic mindset or “business intuition” – ability to step back from the numbers and consider the analysis from multiple points of view, decision analysis and support skillset required
Strong understanding of telecommunication, mobile or consumer credit business
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Data analytics
Treasury, Accounting, Finance experience, preferably in the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector – 3+ years
Corporate or Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Big 4 Audit Accounting or equivalent Consulting experience - 3+ years
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with minimal supervision
Intellectual curiosity and a relentless drive for self-improvement
A high degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets and articulate one’s findings
Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial metrics and capital market
Effective communication skills and a comfort with speaking to all levels
Technical knowledge and expertise within the technology or Telecom industry (e.g. network, IT, media, products)
