Marketing Specialist - Multicultural Retention

Position works closely with the marketing team to support marketing initiatives across all channels. Employs strong organizational, creative and fundamental marketing skills to assist with the development and execution of marketing programs designed to retain Multicultural customers.

Coordinates with internal teams including marketing, product, and retention inbound teams as well as external agencies to translate marketing strategies into effective programs for retention campaigns: including the development of Spanish adaptations and translations.

Works closely with the cross functional Marketing and Product teams to support the development of materials to improve customer retention.

Coordinates with internal strategy teams on identifying key customer segments and developing applicable, unique retentive messaging for each.

Develops a deep understanding of Charter core values and products.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Extensive background with the creative development process; embodies creative best practices and visionary thinking to uniquely solve marketing challenges
  • Employs strong project management skills, demonstrating the ability to set and meet deadlines and manage budgets for multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in deliverables
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders at one time
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to manage all phases of a large project from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy
  • Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines and
  • varying degrees of technical and business experience
  • Ability to work independently and make recommendations and decisions autonomously
  • Ability to conduct formal presentations to all levels of management on issues or findings in assigned areas or subjects
  • Honesty, integrity and ethics
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel , PowerPoint
  • Overall proficiency with common desktop applications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related discipline or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience
2 - 3 years corporate marketing or agency experience
Experience managing external agency partners through the creative development of lead generating marketing materials, including messaging development, offer presentation and layout

Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
Written Spanish
Fast-paced self-motivator who must be detail oriented while able to keep multiple initiatives moving at once
