JOB SUMMARY
Manage the operational and financial planning and analysis functions of Customer Service and provide integrated analysis of financial and operational metrics.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience


Provide support in the forecast and budget process for expense and capital, and ensure all procedures and activities comply with corporate guidelines

Provide support for department-wide monthly expense projections and quarterly expense forecast

Responsible for directing analysis to include analyzing costs and metrics for areas within assigned business unit

Manages the month end close review, ensuring that accruals are accurate and complete. Provides input for the monthly review of expenses and capital to budget and forecast, and explain variances with operational analytics and insight

Review assigned business unit’s expenses to understand the variances both in trends and to budget and be prepared to present variances to leadership.

Review expense entries of the assigned business unit leaders and understand timing of their projects prior to submission to Accounting

Complete all SOX work timely with signoffs and documentation. Communicate issues as needed to staff and management.

Assist in ad hoc information and reporting requests from Leadership

Perform other duties as required by supervisor



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial reports
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Knowledge of budgets, P&L reports, systems and procedures

Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
Experience with complex financial modeling and Hyperion


Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related equivalent experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Solid financial management skills including forecasting and budgeting planning
Knowledge of JD Edwards general ledger software a plus
