The Highlights

The Adobe Marketing Cloud (AMC) Multisolution Architect works with the Web and Marketing Technology team. As the experienced architect, you will serve as the domain guide on the AMC platform for the web and technology team and enterprise marketing business users.

In this role, you will lead many small- to medium-size development projects and requirements documents for three enterprise business-to-business websites and marketing technology tools.

What you will do
  • Build and define technological roadmap for new marketing technology programs
  • Define references and implementation architectures for strategic business technology programs in the marketing space
  • Craft and deploy omnichannel personalized data-driven experiences platform
  • Create a technical and data architecture of multiple Adobe and non-Adobe solutions to support the company’s industry standards, use cases, strategy and needs
  • Enable delivery of creative marketing and distribution capabilities across print, web, email, social and mobile channels
  • Ensure marketing campaigns and solutions are fully integrated and fine-tuned using data-driven insights
  • Be the expert on AMC, data integration, segmentation, marketing automation, web analytics and target capabilities
  • Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the AMC platform
  • Lead technical design sessions to plan and document technical analytics, data and targeting solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Run technical delivery of custom development, tagging, integration, data capture, data management, segmentation and targeting elements of AMC implementation using industry standard methodologies to improve effectiveness
  • Coordinate geographically dispersed analytics, personalization and Quality Assurance teams
  • Maintain understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trends, AMC and other Adobe solutions to make appropriate decisions
  • Configure and optimize AMC's core solutions, services, integrations with first-, second- and third-party data sources, marketing automation systems, social media management platforms and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Design segmentation model to support personalization and targeting across all digital marketing channels
  • Review key performance metrics to revise segmentation and design
  • Understand current marketing technology, landscape and business vision to define target architecture platforms
  • Effectively present architectural and targeting decisions to developers, analysts and business owners
  • Help establish program goals and objectives for marketing platform development
  • Analyze and target reviews for campaigns to employ, promote and carry out optimal tagging patterns
  • Configure AMC solutions to use with other business units and participate in company-wide digital marketing platform governance steering committees
  • Design and implement data layers for complex, analytical and personalized scenarios
  • Craft, design, deploy and test Adobe Experience/Marketing Cloud solutions
  • Apply and promote continuous optimization practices to identify new areas that can be improved or automated, identify operational risks and mitigation plans
  • Apply and endorse analytics, segmentation, optimization/testing and best practices, ensuring that strategies are consistent and well-integrated across channels
Required keys for success
  • Eight or more years of multisolution or marketing technology architect experience
  • Three or more years of Adobe or Marketing Cloud, DTM and Audience Manager experience
  • Eight or more years of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Media Optimizer, marketing automatio, and data driven marketing experience
  • Ten or more years experience in digital marketing, consulting, advertising and/or media
  • Deep digital marketing technology implementation, marketing strategy and program management expertise
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions for web and social analytics, marketing automation, online ad targeting/management, content personalization and client relationship/data management
  • Experience designing, leading and taking ownership of at least two large-scale full life cycle implementations using AMC solutions including Analytics, Target and Audience Manager and marketing automation/CRM solutions to contribute to digital marketing strategies based on industry best practices to maximize our digital marketing effectiveness
  • Experience designing full personalized content and data life cycles
  • Experience with several of the following:
    • Data Visualization: Tableau, PowerBI, Domo
    • Ad Servers: DoubleClick, Sizmek, Atlas, MOAT, DoubleVerify
    • Syndicated Measurement: comScore, Nielsen
    • Ad Effectiveness Research: comScore, Millward Brown Digital, GFK, Nielsen Marketing Cloud
    • Marketing Automation: Salesforce, Sprinklr, Adobe Social
    • DMPs: Blue Kai, Rocket Fuel, Trade Desk
    • DSPs: Adobe Media Optimizer, DoubleClick, Media Math
    • Digital Analytics: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tag Management Solutions (Tealium, GTM), A/B and MVT Solutions (Target, Optimizely)
    • Data Manipulation: VBA/Excel Macros, SQL, SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, Datorama
    • Social Platform Management: SF Marketing Cloud
    • Lead Management: OnDemand, Ringlead
  • Demonstrated success in performing work and leading complex and/or large AMC and digital projects
  • Deep technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing technologies including CRM, DMP, campaign management, A/B testing, analytics and reporting platforms, SEO platforms, predictive intelligence and personalization
  • Successful record of delivering data and solutions in the digital marketing and commerce space
  • Proven history of technical and marketing leadership roles delivering extraordinary targeted experiences, emails and advertising performance
  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices related to analytics, personalization, cross-channel marketing, mobile and data-driven optimization
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies for lead management/generation and optimizing marketing campaigns, as well as online marketing and/or CRM methodologies
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to build relationships with both business and technical teams
  • Results-oriented and delivery-focused approach
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities and deadlines
How you will stand out from the crowd
  • Experience in managing distributed teams including off-shore members and digital agencies
  • Active participation in AMC and other communities
  • Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical/business requirements and marketing briefs
Your education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, data analysis, digital marketing, computer science, management information systems (MIS) or related field (required)
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Adobe Marketing Cloud solution certification (required)
  • Multiple AMC solutions, Marketo/Eloqua and SalesForce certifications (preferred)
