Highlights:

As the Senior Manager of Marketing for Strategic Markets and Federal Government Content Marketing, you are the guiding force that drives sales. You excel at managing innovative content marketing strategies. You own the full content marketing strategy and development from ideation through development, publishing and tracking. You focus on leading a team through the development of the buyer’s journey and narratives creating content that delivers a cohesive client experience and demonstrates our point of view. You propel business through collaboration with outside agencies to increase brand awareness for the entire product line with key target audience themed needs. You are passionate about connecting with clients across multiple marketing channels and educating them about our products.

You maximize efforts and ensure consistent execution of marketing strategies by leveraging partnerships with Sales, Product Management and other internal teams. You focus on building and leading a high-performing team that is committed to increasing revenue and product awareness. You achieve company growth by recruiting, hiring and training members of the marketing team whose views align line with company objectives. You serve as a leader and role model across the Marketing function. You direct programs in an office environment via email and telephone and travel as needed to meet company objectives. You report to the Director of Content Marketing for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
  • Encourage company-wide excellence and growth by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
  • Drive marketing campaigns by leading a group of cross-functional marketing professionals through the full campaign lifecycle, to include post-campaign analyses and reports.
  • Coordinate and implement enterprise-wide marketing campaigns through collaboration with internal teams and outside agencies.
  • Craft creative media strategies by partnering with research teams to develop in-depth client insights.
  • Ensure financial success by managing the budget and monthly accrual process for respective areas.
  • Attract and develop talent by leading, training and providing effective coaching.
  • Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
Required keys for success:
  • Three or more years of content development and production experience.
  • Five or more years of direct marketing experience.
  • Five or more years of experience partnering with creative advertising agencies to develop marketing campaigns that deliver outstanding results.
  • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications products and services.
  • Expert in marketing strategies, procedures and project management.
  • History of developing content for acquisition, upgrade, cross-sell, upsell, retention, education and brand marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing scientific matrices and executing on them flawlessly.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data and continually evolve strategies based on key learnings.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Solid prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues while working under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
  • One or more years of experience working in or with Federal Government entities.
  • Five or more years of business-to-business (B2B) technology marketing experience.
  • Familiar with Spectrum Enterprise products and services.
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
Your education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
