Responsible for managing a team that supports financial analysis and capital approval processes, including financial modeling for Community Solutions sales opportunities and fiber network expansion. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and reviews objectives in order to determine team success.

Assist with development and provide ongoing support for complex financial analysis related to Community Solutions business, including efforts surrounding fiber network expansion opportunities.

Evaluate individual sales opportunities requiring capital or other investment.

Provide oversight of implementation for decision support processes and business rules.

Partner with internal stakeholders, including sales, engineering, product, order management and sales support, to evaluate complex opportunities.

Evaluation, analysis and oversight of pricing and terms of individual sales opportunities, especially those involving complex financial modeling and potentially large capital intensive transactions (capital risk management).

Responsible for the development, testing and execution of financial models.

Provide analytical support to various internal groups related to pricing decisions (individual opportunities as well as larger, product-based support).

Attract and retain highly effective staff through mentoring, coaching, development, appraisal and motivation techniques.

Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write and speak the English language
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within the organization
Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to manage a team of finance professionals
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Exceptional strength to develop and understand financial models and analyze financial returns
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and other computer software

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master’s Degree preferred
