JOB SUMMARY
The
Sr Manager, SMB Marketing Strategy & Analyticsis a key member of the Small and Medium Business Marketing Team. The position supports the development of data-driven business strategy and leads the analytics to find ways to drive new customer acquisition and increase customer relationships. The Sr Mgr provides key insights and recommendations and executes on those business opportunities and initiatives. The Senior Manager will have proven experience in developing and launching new marketing programs, influencing change, reporting and analytics, and project management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Lead and analyze campaign results, performance metrics and sales reporting, develop dashboards and market level overviews to develop recommendations for new initiatives and programs.

Using key insights, identify gaps and opportunities, mined from research, segmentation, and other customer needs’ exercises.

Lead the exploration and evaluation of marketing initiatives that create value for small businesses and generates demand for Spectrum Business products and services.

Assess, recommend, and execute on new opportunities working with external/internal channels and partners, to deliver innovative win-win-win programs (Spectrum Business-Partner-Customer).

Support the development of new marketing and business strategies through analyses of sales performance, market factors, and competitive factors.

Stay aprised on the competitive environment, creating actionable insights and recommendations to influence product and service outcomes.

Support the SMB research strategy and customer panel, collaborating with the research, product and offer teams to provide guidance on the research roadmap.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to analyze and interpret data to derive meaningful insights
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to integrate information from multiple sources and bring teams together to solve problems
Ability to write data queries utilizing multiple tools in order to perform data analyses
Ability to work independently and make recommendations and decisions autonomously
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to negotiate and be persuasive to influence decisions
Ability to conduct formal presentations to all levels of management
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Comfort dealing with ambiguity, being resourceful, and filling in the gaps
Ability to anticipate needs, initiatives and ideas, developing options and recommendations
Ability to think strategically balanced with a strong attention to detail
Penchant to work with a sense of urgency
Ability to use personal computer and software applications
Advanced Excel including complex formulas, VLOOKUP tables, Pivot tables

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services
Experience with B2B or B2BSMB
Experience with Tableau, SQL, data warehouses

Education (level and type)
BS/BA in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience
5+ years: General Marketing experience
2+ years: Strategic Marketing experience
2+ years: Analytics and Reporting experience
1+ years: Business Development/ Partnership Marketing
