JOB SUMMARY The Director of Marketing & Creative Strategy - Retail is a seasoned marketing professional who can design programs to positively impact sales and consideration of Spectrum Products via integrated campaigns. Emphasis is on improving consideration of mobile product growth across various sale channels to develop new customer relationships, and reinforcing benefits to maximize up sell and retention.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Lead OEM product launch marketing strategy and planning calendar across all relevant marketing teams. This includes ownership of go-to-market planning for each NPI, and collaborating with internal and external partners on launch commitments and readiness, as well as offer and creative asset approvals.
Strategic planning with emphasis on continuously driving retail sales channel traffic across integrated marketing campaigns.
Learn and develop further knowledge regarding new technology integration that can help boost customer awareness, engagement and sales growth.
Partner with field marketing organizations to design local and national marketing programs across multiple channels.
Be a mentor for direct reports and actively find ways to grow and cultivate team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and to prioritize and organize effectively Lead, manage and develop a high performing team Motivate others to drive revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction Ability to influence across the organization, particularly at the senior levels Ability to link strategies to financial plans and effectively manage budgets Knowledge of the development of customer metrics and measurement tools (qualitative and quantitative) Knowledge of program testing, tracking, profiling, targeting, metrics and analysis Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services (e.g., Cable/High Speed Internet/Telephone and Mobile) Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Must be solutions-oriented thinker with a "can do" approach; must think creatively and strategically Strong interpersonal skills Education Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or combination of education and experience required. Master’s degree an added plus Related Work Experience Industry experience in consumer technology or related industries; 10+ years Retail marketing experience with emphasis on strategic planning to drive traffic Strong inter-departmental collaboration abilities Keen understanding of various marketing triggers and program analysis Management or account team leadership experience
