The Opportunities are Here – You Just Have to Go After Them

Hard work, sacrifice and Spectrum’s opportunities for career advancement propelled Aaron, Sr. Director ISP, Navy veteran and reservist, into a lasting and rewarding career; one he never thought possible.

Since joining Spectrum in 2014, Aaron’s moved his family three times across the country for new opportunities, earned his Masters degree, and now sits at the top of the leadership team for his region. “I’ve jumped on every opportunity and done everything I can to get myself to this level,” he says.

Aaron believes that anyone who is willing to work hard can achieve what he has. His Spectrum career started nine years ago in St. Louis as a Communications Specialist. When an opportunity arose to become a Field Operations Manager, he jumped at it. This meant a move across the country to Southern California. While in California, Aaron joined Spectrum’s Future Leaders Program and credits this 18-month rotation for helping him get to where he is now. He also took advantage of Spectrum’s Education Assistance program to earn his Masters degree. Several years later, an opportunity became available for Aaron to become a Director of ISP. This meant another move for the family – this time to Wyoming. Finally, Aaron moved to Louisville KY for his current position as a Senior Director.

His story doesn’t stop there. He's setting an example for the next generation, inspiring young talent to challenge their career potential too. Aaron’s son joined Spectrum as an Internet Repair Rep 1 and like his father, he is earning his degree with the help of Spectrum’s Education Assistance.
